The Bundestag constituency of Mönchengladbach (constituency 109) is located in North Rhine-Westphalia and includes the independent city of Mönchengladbach . From 1949 to 1965 the constituency was Rheydt - M.Gladbach - Viersen . Since its inception, the constituency has been won in all federal elections except 1998 by the respective candidate of the CDU .
