The Bundestag constituency Höxter - Gütersloh III - Lippe II (constituency 136) is a constituency in North Rhine-Westphalia for the elections to the German Bundestag . It includes the district of Höxter , the community of Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock from the district of Gütersloh and the communities of Augustdorf , Horn-Bad Meinberg , Lügde , Schieder-Schwalenberg and Schlangen from the district of Lippe . The constituency was redesigned for the 2021 federal election . Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock from the Gütersloh district was added to the constituency , while Detmold was transferred to the Lippe I constituency . At the same time there was a name change, the constituency was named Höxter - Lippe II until 2020 .

In the 2009 Bundestag election , Jürgen Herrmann defended the direct mandate for the CDU in the Höxter - Lippe II constituency. Jürgen Herrmann died on August 11, 2012. He was succeeded by Hubert Hüppe from the Unna district . The CDU MP Cajus Julius Caesar , who lives in the Lippe district and who had been a successor on the CDU state list in the Bundestag since February 1, 2011 , agreed, at the request of the CDU district executive in Höxter, to deal with the interests of the constituency until the next federal election Höxter - Lippe II in Berlin.

The constituency has been won by the CDU in all elections since 1949. It must be noted, however, that the municipalities from the Lippe district only joined the constituency in 1980, so the constituency previously had a different composition. This is also noticeable in the figures.
