The constituency Rhein-Sieg-Kreis II (constituency 98) is a federal electoral district in southern North Rhine-Westphalia and comprises the western part of the Rhein-Sieg district with the communities of Alfter , Bad Honnef , Bornheim , Königswinter , Meckenheim , Rheinbach , Sankt Augustin , Swisttal and Wachtberg . Since its inception, the constituency has been won in all elections by the CDU candidate.

Constituency history
For the 1980 federal election, the area of the Rhein-Sieg district was redistributed. In addition to the already existing Bundestag constituency Rhein-Sieg-Kreis I , the constituency Rhein-Sieg-Kreis II was newly established. Before that, the constituency of Oberbergischer Kreis - Rhein-Sieg-Kreis II and Oberbergischer Kreis - Siegkreis II had existed since the 1965 Bundestag election . From 1949 to 1961 , the entire Siegkreis formed the constituency of the Siegkreis .
