The constituency of Mettmann II (constituency 105) is a federal constituency in North Rhine-Westphalia and comprises the northern part of the Mettmann district . These include the city of Ratingen and the Lower Bergisches Land with the cities of Velbert , Heiligenhaus and Wülfrath .

Constituency history

Since the federal election in 1965 , the area of ​​the Düsseldorf-Mettmann district has been divided into two federal electoral districts. The smallest town in the constituency, Wülfrath, was part of the Düsseldorf-Mettmann II constituency until 1976, while the larger part was included in Düsseldorf-Mettmann I. In the federal elections from 1949 to 1961 , the communities of today's constituency belonged to the constituency of Düsseldorf-Mettmann .
