Marek Kwitek

Marek Kwitek (born April 28, 1961 in Annopol ) is a Polish politician , local politician and since 2007 a member of the Sejm in the VI . Electoral term.

Life

He finished his studies at the Świętokrzyska Academy in Kielce . From 1986 to 2005 he worked as a teacher in a primary school in Sandomierz , as department director of an educational board of trustees and teacher in a general education lyceum.

For two terms he was City Councilor of Sandomierz and was employed in the city administration. From 2005 to 2006 he was Deputy Starosta of the Powiat Sandomierski , after which he was a member of the Sejmik of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and a member of the voivodship administration for a year .

He is a member of the Solidarność trade union , the Polska Federacja Stowarzyszeń Rodzin Katolickich (Polish Federation of Catholic Families) and the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS) party.

In the 2007 parliamentary elections , he was elected to the Sejm for the constituency of Kielce from the PiS list with 2,653 votes. He is a member of the Sejm Commissions for Agriculture and Local Self-Government.
