The Bundestag constituency Lippe I (constituency 135) is located in North Rhine-Westphalia and comprises the northern and central part of the Lippe district with the municipalities of Detmold , Lemgo , Lage , Bad Salzuflen , Oerlinghausen , Leopoldshöhe , Barntrup , Blomberg , Dörentrup , Kalletal and Extertal . The constituency was redesigned for the 2021 federal election . The district town of Detmold was added to the electoral district from the previous Bundestag constituency Höxter - Lippe II . The other communities in the Lippe district belong to the federal election district Höxter - Gütersloh III - Lippe II .
Election 2017

Dirk Becker (SPD), who was drafted into the Bundestag with a direct mandate , resigned his Bundestag mandate on October 21, 2015. His successor in the Bundestag was Petra Rode-Bosse (SPD) from the neighboring Bundestag constituency Höxter - Lippe II . The defeated candidate Cajus Julius Caesar was able to enter the 18th Bundestag via the state list of his party .
