Erhard Mahne

Erhard Mahne (born September 29, 1931 in Bielefeld ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

From 1979 to 1980 he was Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Minister of Transport and for Post and Telecommunications and from 1980 to 1982 Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Minister of Transport.

Life and work

After attending secondary and commercial school, Erhard Mahne completed a commercial apprenticeship. From 1956 to 1964 he was the managing director of his parents' sanatorium.

Mahne has lived in Oldenburg since 1999 .

Political party

In 1958 Mahne joined the SPD. From 1964 to 1972 he was full-time managing director of their sub-district Lippe. From 1973 he was chairman of the subdistrict and from 1978 a member of the SPD party council.

MP

Mahne was a member of the Lemgo District Council from 1961 to 1969 ; From 1964 to 1973 he was a member of the Bad Salzuflen City Council and the Westphalia-Lippe Regional Assembly . In the federal elections in 1972 and 1976 he won the direct mandate in the constituency of Detmold - Lippe . After a Wahlkreisneueinteilung he joined in 1980 in the constituency lip I and won there the direct mandate. When the 1983 electoral term ended, he left the Bundestag. Then he was again a member of the Bad Salzuflen City Council from 1984 to 1994.

Public offices

On March 29, 1979, he was appointed Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Transport and for Post and Telecommunications in the Federal Government led by Federal Chancellor Helmut Schmidt . Since the ministries were separated again after the 1980 Bundestag elections , from November 6, 1980 he only worked for the Federal Minister of Transport in the same function. After Helmut Kohl was elected Federal Chancellor, Mahne resigned from office on October 4, 1982.

From 1991 to 1999 Mahne was chairman of the operating and management company of the radio station Radio Lippe .
