Wolfgang Feinendegen

Wolfgang Feinendegen (born January 30, 1930 in Garzweiler ) is a German lawyer and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Feinendegen was born as the son of the later chief district director of the Kempen-Krefeld district, Ludwig Feinendegen . His brother is the radiation medicine specialist Ludwig E. Feinendegen . After graduating from the humanistic grammar school in Mönchengladbach , he began studying law at the University of Cologne , which he completed with two state exams. He then worked for an insurance company for a year and then worked for an auditing company in Cologne for five years. In 1964 he established himself as a lawyer in Mönchengladbach. He is admitted to the bar in Mönchengladbach and Düsseldorf. Since 1950 he has been a member of the Catholic student association KDSt.V. Rhineland Cologne.

Feinendegen has been a member of the CDU since 1968. He became a member of the Mönchengladbach district executive in 1970 and a year later a member of the district's economic association. Feinendegen was a member of the German Bundestag for two terms from the 1976 to 1983 federal elections . He represented the Bundestag constituency of Mönchengladbach / Viersen in parliament and, from 1980, the constituency of Mönchengladbach / Rheydt. In the 1976 election he won 54.3% of the first votes. Four years later in the federal election - the constituency had since been changed - he still received 48.6% of the votes cast. He was a full member of the Committee on Transport and Post and Telecommunications. He was also a deputy member of the finance committee during his time in the German Bundestag. In the small businesses association of the CDU in Mönchengladbach he was by the end of 2008 as a board member active.
