Hans-Willi Meier
Hans-Willi Meier (born January 13, 1944 in Frechen ) was the full-time mayor ( CDU ) in Frechen, Rhein-Erft-Kreis , North Rhine-Westphalia .
Meier was employed by InfraServ Knapsack in the Knapsack Chemical Park for around 40 years . Most recently, he was on the management board of the chemical park.
Meier has been a member of the CDU for around 40 years and was its chairman in Frechen from 1986 to 1999. For many years he was honorary vice mayor of his hometown. After the first election as full-time mayor in 1999, there were re-elections in 2004 and 2009. Meier did not stand for election in September 2015. Susanne Stupp was her successor .
Meier, who lives in Hüelte , is married and has two children.
