Hans Albert Dithmer
Hans-Albert Dithmer (* 1903 in Hamburg ; † 1992 there ) was a German painter, stage painter, actor and book illustrator from Hamburg.
Even before the end of the second. During the World War he worked as a stage painter for comedy in Vienna, stages in Holland and other theaters. After 1945 he was mainly known for the Hamburg Ohnsorg Theater , for which he created over 500 sets, such as for Zwei Kisten Rum (1958 and 1968) or for Pig Comedy (1962). Since the 1950s he played in a few comedies with Heidi Kabel , Otto Lüthje and other actors and was often seen on German television. He also worked as a production designer for puppet films for NDR television.
He restored some pictures by the well-known painter Thomas Herbst , who also partly shaped his own pictures from the motifs. Hans Albert Dithmer worked until his death in 1992.
