Hans Alt-Küpers

Hans Alt-Küpers (born July 11, 1948 in Aachen ) is a German university advisor and politician ( SPD ). He was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from May 30, 1985 to May 31, 1995 .

education and profession

After completing secondary school in 1965, he completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter, which he completed in 1968 with the journeyman's examination. He then attended the state engineering school for mechanical engineering, which he graduated as an engineer in 1974. graduated with a major in manufacturing technology. He then completed a teacher training course for upper secondary level, passed the first state examination in 1978 and the second state examination in 1981 and was a teacher at a commercial vocational school from 1981 to 1985.

From 1968 to 1979 he was a member of IG-Metall and from 1979 a member of GEW. He was also chairman of the German Olympic Society in Aachen.

Hans Alt-Küpers was head of the jumping department at SV Neptun Aachen in 1910 (federal base in Aachen).

Political party

He joined the SPD in 1971, was a member of the local SPD committee in Aachen-West from 1975 to 1979, and in 1984 became a member of the Cologne district planning council and a member of the lignite committee . In 1989 he became chairman of the Cologne District Planning Council.

In 1979 he became a member of the City Council of Aachen and belonged to the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from May 30, 1985 to May 31, 1995 .
