Hans Arno Charbonnier

Hans Arno Charbonnier (born March 31, 1878 in Skandau , Kr. Gerdauen ; † January 5, 1944 in Brödelwitz , municipality of Kammelwitz , district of Schönau / Wohlau, Silesia ) was Lord Mayor of Liegnitz .

Life

Charbonnier studied law. He became a court trainee in 1898 and a court assessor in 1903 . In 1904 he resigned from the judicial service and embarked on an administrative career. He was temporarily employed by the city council of Charlottenburg and became second mayor of Liegnitz on May 8, 1905, first mayor in 1912 and mayor in August 1913. In addition to this function, he was also a member of the Prussian manor house , the Lower Silesian Provincial Parliament and the Provincial Committee, a deputy member of the Prussian State Council , a member of the Administrative Council of the Lower Silesian Provincial Fire Society and a member of the supervisory board of the Liegnitz-Rawitzer Railway and the Liegnitz Electricity Works.
