Hans Bürkle (* 1946 in Lörrach ) is a German management consultant and specialist book author .

Career

After studying business administration at the Universities of Stuttgart and Würzburg, Hans Bürkle began his career in 1975 as an assistant to Professor Wolfgang Mewes in Frankfurt am Main in the field of management training. From 1981 to 1989 he was self-employed as a business and career consultant. Then he was appointed to the management board of SCHAERF AG (then market leader office furniture, Worms) for five years. In 1994 he resumed his consulting and seminar activities. Until 2013 he was an advisory board member in various medium-sized companies .

At the same time, he was a founding member or board member of associations such as GABAL e. V., Strategy Advisory Group V., EKS Academy, Federal Association of Strategy Forum e. V. as well as lecturer for EKS strategy at the universities of Stuttgart, Halle / Merseburg and Worms.

Hans Bürkle became known through his bestseller book Active Career Strategy (4th edition, over 13,000 copies) and his widely used tool for strategy development for companies, the EKS strategy tableau. Until the end of 2019, he and his wife ran a small hotel in Nierstein near Mainz, the Villa Spiegelberg.
