Hans Brune

Hans Brune (actually: Johannes Heinrich Hermann Brune ) (born June 11, 1889 in Georgsmarienhütte , † March 7, 1977 in Idar-Oberstein ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

Hans Brune attended elementary school, middle school and high school. He then did a commercial apprenticeship and became a secretary in a law office. From 1908 to 1910 he studied medicine, but dropped out without a degree. He was a listener of university lectures on economics and labor law. He became a bank employee in Berlin and from 1924 to 1933 managing director and federal director of the Reichsbund der Wasserstraßen-Gesellschaft. From 1935 he was a naturopath .

politics

Hans Brune joined the NSDAP in 1933 . After the war he became a member of the SPD.

In 1945 he became a member of the Idar-Oberstein city council and the Birkenfeld district council . From 1945 to 1952 he was an honorary alderman in Idar-Oberstein. He was a member of the State Health Council. He was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament from 1951 to 1957. In the state parliament he was a member of the committee for social policy and issues relating to displaced persons and of the economic and reconstruction committee.
