Hans , also Hanspeter Feurer (born September 22, 1939 ), is a Swiss fashion photographer .

biography

After studying art in the 1960s, Feurer worked as a graphic designer, illustrator and artistic director in London. His decision to pursue a career as a photographer matured during a trip to South Africa in 1966. Back in London, he rented a studio. His breakthrough came in late 1967.

Feurer's photographs have appeared in the magazines Twen , Numéro , Vogue , AnOther , GQ Style and Elle , among others . In 1974 he took photos in the Seychelles for the Pirelli calendar .

Others

In 1996, while fishing in Sierra Leone , he was captured by rebels who believed him to be an English spy. Feurer managed to dispel these suspicions.
