Hans Goudefroy

Hans Goudefroy (born March 26, 1900 in Lüdenscheid ; † December 26, 1961 in Munich ) was a German lawyer and CEO of Allianz Versicherungs-AG.

He studied law in Tübingen , where he was active in the Corps Borussia , and Göttingen and obtained his doctorate in 1923. jur. After working as a court assessor at the Dortmund and Herne district courts and at the Bielefeld regional court , he joined the legal department of Allianz Versicherungs-AG in Berlin in 1932 . In 1939 he became head of syndicates and deputy board member . Fortunately, in 1945 he escaped being arrested by the Soviet troops advancing into Berlin. From 1948 to 1961, Goudefroy was General Director and Chairman of the Board of Management of Allianz Versicherungs-AG (today Allianz SE ).
