Hans Gysi (born April 4, 1953 in Arosa ) is a Swiss writer , director , actor and theater educator . He lives in Märstetten , Canton Thurgau .

Life

Hans Gysi was born and raised in Arosa . He did schools and training in Arosa, Schiers and at the University of Zurich . 1976 secondary teacher Phil I. From 1982 to 1985 he attended the Zurich Acting Academy . From 1985 on he worked for two years as an actor at Kjtz (Theater an der Sihl, Zurich) and later as a freelance actor, director, theater pedagogue and author with various theater groups ( Theater Katerland ; Theater Zwei-Ge, Bilitz). Many productions from the spring awakening to the petty bourgeois wedding, u. a. also with Andreas Schertenleib “ I have a big grind, a Glauser evening ”. Has received the sponsorship award from the Canton of Thurgau, a work prize from Pro Helvetia and a sponsorship award from the Aargau Board of Trustees. Lives in Märstetten Thurgau, and since January 2004 he has headed the Theaterbureau Gysi there, the smallest theater in the canton of Thurgau. He also works part-time as a vocational school teacher. Hans Gysi is married and has three grown children. In book form are u. a. published: › Zoo Stories ‹, › Long Waiting, Smoke ‹, › Federkino ‹, › The Skinny Nurse ‹ and › Morning Poems ‹. Gysi has received the sponsorship award from the canton of Thurgau, a work prize from Pro Helvetia and a grant from the Aargau board of trustees. In 2012 he received the 1st prize in the poetry competition at the Rilke Festival.
