Hans Heinrich Peters

Hans Heinrich Peters (* 1945 ) is a German economist. He was Professor of Business Law and Managing Director of the Hanover Stock Exchange .

Life and work

Hans Heinrich Peters studied law and economics . In 1978 he took over the management of the Lower Saxony Stock Exchange in Hanover. From 1988 to 1993 he moved to the Hanseatic Stock Exchange in Hamburg for five years. After an interlude as administrative director of Norddeutscher Rundfunk , he took up a professorship for commercial law at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences . Peters was significantly involved in the merger of the Hamburg and Hanover stock exchanges to form Börsen AG . There he remained - first on the supervisory board, from 2002 to 2009 on the management board.
