Hans Heinrich von Fersen

Hans Heinrich von Fersen († 1724 ) was an Estonian knight captain and district administrator .

Life

Hans Heinrich von Fersen came from a German-Baltic noble family Fersen . His parents were the royal Swedish lieutenant Heinrich von Fersen, heir to Kirna († 1682) and Beate von Berg († after 1692).

Fersen was the heir to the Estonian estates of Kirna, Laupa, Pachel and Reopal. He served in the Swedish army, most recently with the rank of captain. From 1720 to 1723 Fersen was knighthood captain of the Estonian knighthood and from 1721 also district administrator in Estonia.

Fersen entered the state of marriage twice. First he married in Reval on July 5, 1698, the heiress of the Estonian estates Sarkfer and Paenküll, Christina Hedwig von Essen († 1707). On May 19, 1711 he married again with Anna Barbara von Vietinghoff ad H. Hauküll . Three sons were born from the marriages:

  1. Otto Magnus von Fersen (* 1706)
  2. Reinhold Johann von Fersen (1713–1772), Imperial Russian lieutenant and Estonian magistrate
  3. Karl Gustav von Fersen (1717–1790), founder of the Livonian line Ollustfer , 1759 Livonian district administrator
