Henglein and son GmbH and the associated companies Henglein GmbH & Co. KG in Klosterhäseler is a food manufacturer in the Middle-Franconian town Wassermungenau in the district Roth .
The company manufactures potato products and pasta and trades in potatoes and onions. Both make it both as a brand manufacturer as well as a trademark .
history
In 1936 Johann Henglein founded a haulage company for agricultural products.
In 1960, Hans Hengelein, the son of the company founder, started the potato trade in addition to his father's cattle trade and carried out cattle transports for other traders. In 1973 he took over the business. In 1976 he started packing potatoes in household quantities.
In 1985 Norbert Henglein developed a prefabricated dumpling dough and began to produce it with twelve employees. In 1988, the company moved from the center of Wassermungenau to the outskirts.
In 1995, a factory for yeast dumplings was built in Klosterhäseler on the site of the bankrupt French fries factory. In 1997 a sales company was founded in Poland and in 1998 the Nürnberger Kloßteig and Hochreiter fresh pasta products were taken over. In 1999 a production facility for convenience products was set up in Katowice . 2001, with the production of noodles , Reibekuchenteig and noodles , 2002 Leafy , pizza and special doughs, 2004 by gnocchi begun and in 2013 with potato gnocchi and mini-dumplings.
