Hans Honey

Hans Honig (born April 8, 1880 in Metz , † 1946 in the USSR ) was a German administrative lawyer and politician ( SPD ).

Honey, who was a Protestant denomination, studied law and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD. From 1918 to 1924 he was district administrator in the Memel district , from 1924 to 1928 district administrator in the Heinrichswalde district . Later he was government vice-president in Potsdam.

In 1919 he was elected to the provincial parliament of the province of East Prussia for the SPD and the constituency of Königsberg 13 (Memel-Land) . With the separation of the Memelland this mandate expired on December 21, 1919.
