Hans Hosemann

Hans Hosemann (born September 29, 1913 in Rostock ; † 1994 ) was a German gynecologist and employee of the machine reporting .

Hosemann received his doctorate in 1936 in Breslau and completed his habilitation in 1943. During his studies, he was involved in the youth movement and reformed association Saxnot . Until May 8, 1945 he worked in the Central Archives for Military Medicine . In 1948 he became an adjunct professor for obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Göttingen .

In 1950 his book The punch card system and some important statistical results in the gynecological and obstetric field appeared . With Jürgen Haller, Hosemann has published the book The use of a special punch card system for creating coordinated statistics on malignant tissue formations in the female genitals . In 1951, Hosemann and Drägerwerke presented an inhaler for anesthetic agents. He got involved with Lions Germany from 1961 . In the 1970s he was the head physician in the gynecological department of the municipal hospital in Emden .

His parents were the surgeon Paul Gerhard Hosemann and Anna Dorothea Hosemann geb. Kobert, daughter of the physician Rudolf Kobert . His brothers were u. a. the physicist Rolf Hosemann and the communications engineer Gerhard Hosemann .
