Non-Eric (born August 3, 1960 in Bonn ; actually Hans Jörg Bordin, née Nonn ) is a German musician and producer.

Life

Non Eric was a founding member of the Bonn band "Steampig" around 1978. He then played synthesizers with the electronic avant-garde Krakeelers "Pension Stammheim", which made history as the fourth Bonn-based "Signing on 5th gait" due to its entertaining live performances.

In 1991 Non Eric founded the label Lunatec together with Beate Bordin exclusively for the publication of in-house productions. Tracks like Big Bang and Superstitious under the project name Luxor are among the classics of the trance & techno genre. The internationally successful and worldwide licensed club tracks also include Ovation - Book of Revelation , Dee Rex - Soilent Green and El Diablo by Fuego. The cooperation with the Frankfurt DJ Dag also appeared on Lunatec under the project name Crazy Malamute .

He released his last commercial album Urban Chill House 2 through Zomba Records in 2002 . The album was the “compilation of the month” in Raveline magazine and concluded Non-Eric's “electronic dance” phase.

Non-Eric continued to produce remixes for Alphaville and Marc Almond . Some of the 100+ maxi vinyl singles released are still licensed for compilations today. His current project is WETIKO , a non-commercial pop project.

His first single Signs of Vice by Volkstanz was released in 1981 on 5te Gangart Records, where he released his first album with Pension Stammheim in 1982. Musically, this was the electronic advancement of his "wave roots". Non Eric's first band The Plague still played punk songs. His stage name stands for "no (non) Eric Clapton".

Among other things, he worked for the music software companies Steinberg from 1987 to 1991 as Marketing and Sales Manager and Native Instruments (2003) as OEM Sales Manager and founded digitalmusician.net, an Internet platform for musicians, in November 2004 with Karl Steinberg and Manfred Rürup.

He has been running the video blog "MusoTalk" since 2006 and regularly publishes videos all about recording (product tests and interviews). So far over 1500 videos have been published on the video channel and the YouTube channel "MusoTalk" currently has 27,000 subscribers.
