Hans Jürgen Stöcker

Hans Jürgen Stöcker (born November 11, 1928 , † November 12, 2004 in Hamburg ) was a German manager and association official in the shipping industry .

Live and act

From 1965 to 1982 the business lawyer , who received his doctorate in 1956 , was a member of Hapag-Lloyd AG , from 1968 until his departure in 1982 as a member of the board and responsible for the finance department.

From 1977 to 1982 he was a member of the board of directors and from 1981 to 1982 chairman of the Association of German Shipowners . From 1986 to 1993 he was chairman of the Association of German Coastal Ship Owners until they merged with one another in 1993.

Stöcker was a speaker at specialist conferences on the subject of shipping and co-author of specialist books.

Stöcker lived in the south of Hamburg.
