Hans Jacob Bachmann

Hans Jacob Bachmann (* around 1574 in Memmingen ; † 1651 Augsburg ) was a Swabian goldsmith and member of the Bachmann family of artists . In 1598 he applied for the goldsmith's mastery in Augsburg, where he married in 1612. From 1624 to 1628 he is listed as a juggler of the Augsburg goldsmiths' guild. From 1633 to 1635 he was its predecessor.

In Munich, a court invoice has been received from 1608, which documents the delivery of a desk for 1520 guilders . In 1611 and 1615 a jug with a basin was delivered to the Bavarian court. The Augsburg goldsmith's files document a delivery of a large cooling vessel from 1639, a large silver writing instrument from 1642 and a desk from 1649, which were made together with Matthäus Bachmann .
