Hans Klinkhammer

Hans Klinkhammer (born August 23, 1953 in Mönchengladbach ) is a former German soccer player . He was under contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach from 1972 to 1980 and was German champion with Borussia in 1975 , 1976 and 1977 . In 1975 he was also on the team that won the UEFA Cup against Twente Enschede for Gladbach.

The offensive full-back, who came from his own youth, got his first professional contract in 1972 under coach Hennes Weisweiler . In the same year Henning Jensen and Shmuel Rosenthal also came to Gladbach, Bernd Rupp returned to the Bökelberg via the 1. FC Köln station . Due to the high quality competition in the squad, Klinkhammer did not play in the Bundesliga in his first season . He played his first game in the Bundesliga on August 25, 1973 in a 4-2 win at Wuppertaler SV. He came to 18 stakes in this round in 1973/74 and was then part of the regular cast in the following rounds. He was also in action for Gladbach in the final in the European Cup of Champions, lost with 1: 3 goals on May 25, 1977 in Rome against Liverpool FC . In total, he played 33 games in the European Cup for Mönchengladbach and scored two goals. He was appointed to the B national team once in 1977 .

In the summer of 1980 he moved to TSV 1860 Munich . He played one season with the "Löwen" in the Bundesliga and in 1981/82 a season in the 2nd Bundesliga . At Union Solingen , he ended his career in paid football in the 2nd Bundesliga in 1983.

In the Bundesliga he came to 163 games and 5 goals. In the 2nd Bundesliga there were 44 games and one goal.
