Hans Lutwin
Hans Lutwin was mayor of Heilbronn from 1360.
He belonged to the old patrician family Lutwin, first mentioned in Heilbronn in 1307 . Around 1350 the Lutwin were related to other important patrician families from Heilbronn such as the Gerhart, Kelner, Feurer, Laemmlin , von Münchingen, von Waiblingen and Wigmar. Your coat of arms shows a shield that is split and shows a bar at the front and Wolkenfeh (a heraldic pattern shape) at the back.
Hans Lutwin was the municipal judge, arbitrator and mayor of Heilbronn. He is mentioned in numerous documents. He received many distinguished guests in his house and also carried the Württemberg fief . In 1358 he brought the Heilbronn patriciate 250 guilders in debt from the von Weinsberg family . In 1376 he and his sons sold their part of Großgartach to Count Eberhard II.
