The Lutwin were a patrician family in Heilbronn .

The Lutwin are one of the oldest patrician families in Heilbronn. They are first recorded in 1307 with Conrad, son of Lutwin. From 1328 to 1331 Walter Lutwin is mentioned as mayor of Heilbronn, a Hans Lutwin was judge and mayor in Heilbronn in the 1360s and is mentioned in many documents. Before and after, Nicolaus, Kunz, Erhard, Steffan and Eitel Lutwin are also mentioned. Members of the sex also owned Württemberg fiefs . The sons of the old Lutwin of Heilbronn, namely Kunz Lutwin and Steffan Lutwin, Kirchher to Beihingen, sold on November 23, 1376 its share of Großgartach to Count Eberhard II. Even the old Lutwin even sold on 15 December 1376 its share.
