Walter Lutwin
Walter Lutwin was mayor of Heilbronn around 1330 .
The Lutwin family in Heilbronn was first mentioned in 1307 in the documents of the Bebenhausen monastery . The coat of arms of the Lutwin shows a shield that is split and shows a bar at the front and Wolkenfeh (a heraldic pattern shape) at the back.
Walter Lutwin, mentioned from 1328 to 1331, was one of the first mayors of Heilbronn , as this office was first created in 1314. During Lutwin's tenure, the council already had the high level of jurisdiction (blood spell) , which King Ludwig the Bavarian had given the city in 1322. On July 13, 1329 Walter Lutwin renounced his claims against the Heilbronner Hof of Maulbronn Monastery . A Hans Lutwin , possibly the son of Walter Lutwin, is also mentioned as a high city dignitary (judge) after this.
