Hans Moritz von Brühl (General)

Hans Moritz von Brühl from 1738 Count von Brühl (* October 24, 1693 ; † October 16, 1755 in Leipzig ) was Real Privy Councilor, Chief Equestrian, General of the Cavalry and Governor of the Teutonic Order Ball in Thuringia .

Life

He was the son of the Privy Councilor Hans Moritz von Brühl , who was in the service of the Duke of Saxe-Weissenfels and had inherited the Gangloffsömmern manor . Best known was his younger brother, Prime Minister Heinrich von Brühl , who achieved the elevation of the counts for the entire family.

In 1734, Hans Moritz von Brühl took over the Kommende Griefstedt . On April 16, 1738 he was raised to the rank of count at the imperial court.

He died in Leipzig before he was 63 years old.
