Hans Moritz von Brühl (Oberhofmarschall)

Hans Moritz von Brühl (born November 23, 1665 in Gangloffsömmern ; † September 25, 1727 ibid) was Privy Councilor and Chief Steward of the Duke of Saxony-Weissenfels and Chief Captain of the Principality of Saxony-Querfurt and the Thuringian State Portion.

Life

He was the son of Hans Moritz von Brühl (born September 14, 1614), who died on December 7, 1694 in Gangloffsömmern , and the Sabine Eleonore von Witzleben (born April 21, 1634; † February 16, 1668). Since his brother Heinrich Dietrich von Brühl had been missing since the Battle of Fleurus (1690) , he inherited the paternal manor in Gangloffsommern. In 1716 he was appointed Real Privy Councilor and Vice-Chamber President at the court of Sachsen-Weißenfels. His children include Hans Moritz von Brühl (General) , Friedrich Wilhelm von Brühl , Johann Adolph von Brühl and Heinrich von Brühl .

His daughter Johanne Eleonore (1697–1739) married Erich Volkmar von Berlepsch (1707–1749), heir, feudal lord and court lord in Urleben in 1726 .
