Friedrich Wilhelm von Brühl

Friedrich Wilhelm von Brühl , since 1738 Count von Brühl (born February 4, 1699 - † August 26, 1760 in Dresden ) was a royal Polish and electoral Saxon Privy Councilor, governor in Thuringia and chief tax collector from the von Brühl family .

He was the son of Hans Moritz von Brühl and his wife Erdmuthe Sophie von der Heyde (born November 9, 1669, † March 24, 1702). The Prime Minister Heinrich von Brühl was his younger brother. With his sponsorship he became the owner of the manors Martinskirchen and Wartenburg, from 1738 of the two feudal estates Altbelgern and Brottewitz as well as the Vorwerk Langenrieth.

On April 16, 1738 he was raised to the rank of count at the imperial court.

On May 5, 1755, he bought the Bedra , Leiha, Schalkendorf and Erblehn Möckerling estates from the Brandenburg-Prussian Privy Councilor Christoph von Taubenheim for 100,000 thalers. After his death, he was buried in the Dresden Frauenkirche next to his brother, the head stable master Johann Adolph Graf von Brühl , who died in 1742 .

He married Agnes Elisabeth von Thümen (* February 2, 1716, † July 14, 1786). The couple had at least two sons:
