Hans Moser (politician, 1951)

Hans Moser (* 1951 ) is a Swiss politician and former President of the Federal Democratic Union (EDU) Switzerland.

Life

After training as a farmer, attending evening school for trade and training as an agricultural machinery mechanic , he was managing director of the Landverband business branch in Bad Ragaz .

In 1985 he switched to the social sector. He became employment group leader of the garden work group. At the beginning of the 1990s, he founded the Neufeld residential and employment home in Buchs . Since then he has been the home manager and responsible for administration and staff. Moser has been married since 1972 and has 9 children.

politics

In his youth, Moser politicized in the Free Democratic Party (FDP). He later switched to the Evangelical People's Party (EVP) and then actively helped found the EDU St. Gallen in the early 1990s . As the first St. Galler EDU canton president he was appointed to the Swiss management of the EDU and in 2001 he was elected president of the EDU Switzerland. In addition, Hans Moser is also a district school councilor in Werdenberg .
