Hans Peters (politician, 1933)

Hans Peters (born November 23, 1933 in Hamburg ) is a German SPD politician and former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

After attending elementary school from 1940 to 1949, Hans Peters became unemployed and at times managed to get by as a gardener, port worker and shipyard worker. After training as an IT specialist, he worked in industrial and service companies. He then got a job as an employee in the data protection and data security department (with power of attorney ) at Hamburg-Mannheimer AG. Peters is married and has two children.

politics

In 1956, Hans Peters joined the SPD. From 1961 to 1966 he was a member of the Hamburg-Nord district assembly and the Barmbek-Uhlenhorst local committee .

In 1978 he was elected as a member of the Hamburg parliament until 1991. He worked primarily on the submissions committee, the home affairs and civil service committee , the legal committee and the culture committee.
