Hans Reip

Hans Reip (born March 29, 1906 , † January 11, 1984 ) was a German sports official, journalist and author.

Life

The trained export and publishing salesman Reip was from 1952 to 1974 chairman of the Hamburg gymnastics association from 1816 and co-organizer of the German gymnastics festival from 1953 in Hamburg as well as editor of the festival newspaper.

In 1952 he looked after the German warriors on their trip to South America.

Reip excelled as a writer in questions of gymnastics and was an employee of the German Sports Confederation in the “Sport and Public Working Group”.

On January 20, 1984, Hans Reip said goodbye with a memorial service in the St. Johanniskirche in Eppendorf.
