Hans Reither

Hans Reither (born June 3, 1874 in Hadres ; † December 5, 1941 ) was an Austrian politician ( SDAP ) and head conductor. Reither was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1919 to 1932 .

After attending elementary school, Reither entered the service of the railway and worked as a head conductor. He became chairman of the local political organization in Gmünd and was active in the railway workers' union. In addition, he was economic councilor of the Vienna State Railway Directorate and Vice Mayor of Unter-Wielands . Later he was the People's Council of the city of Gmünd, local council and from 1933 to 1934 mayor of Gmünd. He was particularly involved in the residential sector. Reither was sworn in as a member of the Lower Austrian Landtag on May 20, 1919 and belonged to the Lower Austrian Land Curia between November 10, 1920 and May 11, 1921. He left the state parliament on May 21, 1932.
