Hans Rempel (publisher)

Hans Rempel (born September 18, 1904 , † May 7, 2004 ) was a German newspaper publisher .

Career

Rempel was the publisher and editor-in-chief of the Gießener Allgemeine Zeitung . In the 1950s he played a key role in the merger of the association of Hessian old publishers with the license holder of newspapers in Hesse in the Association of Hessian Newspaper Publishers , of which he was a member of the board from 1954 to 1979, including as deputy chairman from 1969 to 1975.

He also founded the history magazine Damals and acted as its editor from 1969 to 1992.
