Hans Robert Jenny

Hans Robert Jenny (born March 25, 1912 in Zurich ; † May 7, 1996 in Zollikon ) was a Swiss business journalist and real estate entrepreneur.

Life

Jenny joined the National Front in the 1930s . In 1938 he joined the splinter group of Confederation loyal to the National Socialist worldview , based on the model of the NSDAP , and in 1940 he joined its successor organization, the National Movement of Switzerland (NBS). Degree in economics in Zurich and Berlin , he completed in 1940 with the promotion of Dr. oec. publ. from. Until the end of the Second World War, he worked as a freelance journalist and business commentator for newspapers under the influence of the party publisher of the NSDAP ( Franz-Eher-Verlag ). After the end of the war, he founded a tax consultancy and trustee office, which he expanded over the years into a large administration and real estate company, Verit. From 1954 on, Jenny went on numerous study trips to southern Africa and published his travel impressions in several books and numerous articles. He took a positive position on South African apartheid . In 1968 he and his wife Trudy established the Foundation for Occidental Reflection (STAB), today the Foundation for Occidental Ethics and Culture . He was also a co-founder of the Engadin College, which was created with a similar objective.
