Hans Roland Dürr

Hans Roland Dürr (* 1964 in Kitzingen ) is a German doctor and university lecturer . Since 2004 he has been Professor of Orthopedics at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich (LMU).

Life

After studying medicine from 1985 to 1991 in Gießen and Würzburg, he received his doctorate in 1991 in Würzburg . From 1991 to 1993 he worked at the University Clinic for General and Abdominal Surgery in Mainz and was then approved. From 1993 to 1998 he was an assistant doctor at the orthopedic clinic and polyclinic of the LMU Munich. In 1997 he became a specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery, in 1998 senior physician, in 2001 managing senior consultant at the University of Rostock and acting head of the orthopedic clinic and polyclinic at the University of Rostock. In 2002 he completed his habilitation at the University of Rostock . In 2003 he moved to Großhadern to develop and manage the tumor orthopedics focus at the Orthopedic Clinic and Polyclinic of the LMU Munich. Since 2004 he has been Professor of Orthopedics at LMU. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Sarcoma Conference .
