Hans Schlunegger (ski racer, 1944)

Hans Schlunegger (* 1944 in Grindelwald ) is a former Swiss ski racer and trainer.

Schlunegger belonged to the Grindelwald Ski Club and was a member of the Swiss national team from 1964 to 1968. He remained without major international success, but won the championship of the Bernese Oberland in Adelboden in 1967 . After his active career, Schlunegger became a trainer in the Swiss Ski Association . From 1972 he was the coach of the men's national downhill team, which at that time included the successful Bernhard Russi , Roland Collombin , Philippe Roux , Walter Vesti and Peter Müller . From 1980 to 1982 he trained the downhill women, including Marie-Theres Nadig and Doris De Agostini .
