Hans Schommer
Hans Schommer is a German table tennis player . He took part in a world championship for Saarland.
Schommer played for 1. FC Saarbrücken . With his men's team, he became champions of the Oberliga Südwest in 1966 and rose to the newly founded Bundesliga .
In 1955 he competed for Saarland in the individual competitions of the World Cup in Utrecht. He didn't come close to medal ranks. In the double competition he prevailed with Günter Hoffmann after a bye against Olle Gustner / Kjell Wilhelmsson (Sweden), but not against the Hungarians József Kóczián / Ferenc Sidó .
