Hans Spiecker (born February 25, 1891 in Herchen , † December 24, 1968 in Essen ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1950 to 1962 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After Hans Spiecker had finished high school with the Abitur, he studied Protestant theology and philology . In 1914 he passed his state examination in philology. From 1919 he worked as a high school teacher.

Before 1933 he was chairman of the Christian Social People's Service in Essen and from 1929 to 1933 city councilor. In 1946 he became deputy district chairman of the Essen CDU. From January 1946 to 1948 he was councilor of the city of Essen. Spiecker was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament as a direct candidate for the CDU in constituency 66 (Essen-Werden-Kupferdreh or Essen VII) from the second to the fourth electoral term. He was an MP from July 5, 1950 to July 20, 1962.
