Hans Uwe Schuster
Hans-Uwe Schuster (born February 20, 1930 in Rendsburg ; † October 28, 1994 in Erftstadt ) was a German chemist and university professor .
Career
Schuster received his doctorate in 1959 or 1960 at the University of Kiel with Robert Juza with a thesis "The system calcium carbide-calcium oxide" and completed his habilitation there in 1967 on "Ternary lithium compounds with the elements of the fourth main group".
In 1971 Schuster was appointed one of the directors of the Institute for Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Cologne . His field of work was solid state chemistry .
