Hans Weichselbaum
Hans Weichselbaum (* 1946 in Freistadt ) is an Austrian author .
Life
Hans Weichselbaum studied history and German at the University of Salzburg and was a high school teacher until 2010. From 1970 to 1985 he was director of the Salzburg literary forum reading lamp . He has been a member of the editorial board of the literary magazine Salz since 1975 . One focus of Weichselbaum's work is research into the life and work of the Austrian poet Georg Trakl .
Hans Weichselbaum has been the director of the Georg Trakl Research and Memorial Center as well as managing director of the International Trakl Forum in Salzburg since 1972 . He is co-editor of the book series Trakl Studies and has authored numerous literary articles and books.
