Adrien Finck
Adrien Finck (* 1930 in Hagenbach ( Sundgau ); † June 8, 2008 ) was an Alsatian writer and university professor.
Life
Finck studied at the University of Strasbourg and the University of Paris . In 1973 he was offered a professorship for German and Alsatian literature at the University of Strasbourg. His research focus was Alsatian literature. In addition, he has mainly published works on works by Georg Trakl , Friedrich Hölderlin and Rainer Maria Rilke .
Adrien Finck also excelled with a number of poems in the Alsatian dialect.
