Hans Werner Kirchner

Hans Werner Kirchner (* 1908 in Oberhausen ; † 1965 in Stuttgart ) was a German painter and actor.

Life

Hans Werner Kirchner was born in Oberhausen (Rhineland). He attended the Folkwang School in Essen. He died in Stuttgart in 1965.

Artistic creation

In his paintings the influences of Expressionism and Informel (Hartung, KO Goetz, E. Schumacher, Baumeister, Action Painting - Jackson Pollock) are particularly visible. He was a member of the Stuttgart Artists' Association and the Württemberg Art Association.

As an actor he played a. a. with in The Oil Prince (1961), In the Gorges of the Balkans (1960) and Hajji Halef Omar (1959).
