Hans Wilhelm Stodollick

Hans Wilhelm Stodollick (born June 17, 1949 in Dortmund ) was mayor of the city of Lünen in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Stodollick obtained his secondary school leaving certificate in 1966 and then worked in the service of the administration of the city of Dortmund before he passed the career examination as a graduate in administration and the Abitur in 1974. He then studied law and political science at the Philipps University of Marburg and passed his first state examination in 1980 and his second state examination in 1983. This was followed by a job as a city treasurer in Lübbecke , where he took over the office of city director in 1988 and was responsible for the areas of economic development, school / sport, culture, the main and personnel office and social welfare office. From 1993 he was city director in Lünen, where he was elected full-time mayor in 1999. In 2004 and 2009 he was confirmed in this office.

Stodollick is a member of the SPD , ran for his first two candidacies for mayoral election in Lünen as an independent candidate, before he was also chosen as the official candidate of his party for the local elections in 2009 .

He did not run for the new mayoral election on September 13, 2015.
