Hans van Rossum

Hans van Rossum (actually JC van Rossum ; * 1949 ) is a Dutch organ and harpsichord builder .

Life

Hans van Rossum had been employed by the KB Blank & Zn organ building workshop in Herwijnen since 1966. There he got to know all areas of organ building, he specialized in intonation . From around 1969 the company was one of the first in the Netherlands to increasingly focus on historical organ building from the Baroque era. Since 1976, Hans van Rossum has also been building harpsichords as an autodidact. In 1990 he founded his own workshop in Andel, and in 2002 he moved it to Wijk en Aalburg.
