Hansheinrich Meier-Peter (born January 24, 1939 in Berlin ) is a German ship operator and university professor.

Life

Hansheinrich Meier-Peter studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Hanover . In 1959 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia there . In 1974 he was awarded a Dr.-Ing. From the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Hanover. PhD. In 1978 he became division manager of Maschinenbau AG Weser . In 1982 he received a professorship at the Flensburg University of Applied Sciences and became director of the local Institute for Ship Operations Research. The focus of his scientific work was ship operation technology , ship engineering and ship technology .

Meier-Peter is co-author of Kurt Illies ' manual for ship operating technology , which was published in two editions, and is co-editor of the manual for ship operating technology. Operation, monitoring, maintenance. , which appeared in several editions in German as well as in English and Chinese. He also wrote several scientific articles and various articles in scientific journals.
