Haouliais Axel Cédric Konan (born January 25, 1983 in Abidjan ) is an Ivorian football player , he plays in the position of a striker .
Konan moved to Italy for US Lecce in 1998, and for the first time to a European club. He remained loyal to Lecce when they were relegated to Serie B in the 2002/03 season. In six seasons with the southern Italian club Konan came on over a hundred missions. When Lecce was relegated to Serie B again in 2006, he moved to Turin on loan . From the 2007/08 season Konan played again for US Lecce, in 2009 he left the club. Konan has been playing for AC Bellinzona in the Swiss Super League since the 2010/11 season.
